We were learning about summarising. We had to think about knowing who, where, when and what happened in the story.

                                             I was learning about similes.  I know we describe by using our senses.

I was learning about reflection. I know that reflection is putting shapes and patterns in front of a mirror, and putting it on the other side. It  is same as flipping.

We  are learn about  multiplication. We learnt about using repeated addition to solve multiplication. For example, we know that 5x2 is the same as 2+2+2+2+2.

Making a word plan

I was learning to  make a word  plan. I know that a word plan has a topic and 3 or 4 ideas.

This is tricky for me.

Features of fiction texts

We  were learning about the features of  texts. I  know that a features  texts are  stories that are not real. I learnt that all fiction texts have characters a setting and a plot.

Reflection

I was learning about non-fiction texts.  Now I know a sub-heading is a mini title in a non-fiction books.  I have also learnt that it has photographs, a contents page and an index to help me find information.

I have been learning about statistics.  I made bar graphs, pictographs, a pie graph and tally charts.  
We know about the steps for statistics.

We are learning about beginning blends in words. I know blends have 2 sounds like bl, st, pl. I can use blends in my sentences.
